Well, it’s December and we are now receiving very few animals here at the wildlife center. A few injured adults have come through but no more frantic rushes of babies ’til Spring. Baby Squirrels usually begin needing care in March but with the odd weather we are having I would not be surprised if it were an early spring this year.

I have many tales to share and many pictures to upload of our Last-Of-The-Year animal releases. Give me a few days to edit down all the photos and come back to visit!

Also, we are working on our Yearly newsletter so be sure to email me your mailing address if you would like to receive one.

Thanks for your patience with me and my lack of updating. With so few volunteers and so little funding, there are too many other items higher on the priority list. We *hope* to have more volunteers and more funding in the spring:)

Don’t forget to sign up with Albertson’s Community Share program so we get a percentage of whatever you spend on groceries at Albertson’s! It’s easy and it’s Free to you and it makes a HUGE difference to us.

On the LOWER RIGHT side of the screen is the “COMMUNITY PARTNERS” link. Click that 🙂 All you need is your Albertson’s Club Card Number (from the bar code on the card OR from your receipt next time you shop – ask the Clerk to circle your number) AND the phone# you used to sign up with. When you log onto their Community Partners website you will be asked for a Community Partner Number of the organization you would like to support. Our number is: 49001007352 or alternatively, if you would prefer to search for us, simply put in Yggdrasil.

Last month we received $12.00 from Albertson’s because of this program – and that with only 2 people signing up. If we can get more people to sign up this could really help us. Please tell your friends! Thanks for your time.
