We are a grassroots, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization running exclusively on donations. We do not receive government subsidies and we depend on donations from kind members of our community in order to continue our work. Our annual operating costs run around $25,000.00 for the hundreds of animals we treat and release, giving them a second chance at a wild life. Making a donation to our organization will help us continue to offer our wildlife rehabilitation services, child and adult education programs, and humane wildlife problem resolution services to the community. There are several ways to donate to YUWR so that we may continue our mission of caring for injured and orphaned animals and educating the public. All donations are tax deductible, whether you make a monetary or material donation. Thank you for your support.
Our organization runs completely on donations. The cost of food, medical supplies, and care for the animals ranges from $50 – $400 per animal – sometimes more!
We accept donations via the Network for Good, Paypal, and through the mail at our San Francisco Office:
Yggdrasil Urban Wildlife Rescue, 2200 25th Street, SF, CA 94107
Another way to help is to Search the web and Shop online using Goodshop Just click to raise up to 20% of each purchase for us and one penny for every search you do.
We are currently hoping to upgrade our SLOW wildlife hotline phone from an iPhone4 to an iPhone 5 or better. If you have an old iPhone 5 sitting in a drawer somewhere collecting dust, please consider donating it to our wildlife center to be used for our wildlife emergency hotline and on-the-go camera. We can give you a tax deductible donation receipt for the full used value ($600). If you would like to contact us about this, please send a text, call, or email to 510-421-9897 or email@example.com Thanks!
